It require the most resource, the maximum amount of money, the longer time in the course of the construction project, so it is particularly important to take measures to control it in the course of the construction project. Quality control is the most important among the three objectives (quality, time, cost) in the course of construction project, Therefore, the quality control in the course of construction project is the key to the entire construction project quality control.This paper based on the analysis of the quality formation process in the course of construction project, and proposed that the basic process quality control is the essence of the quality control in the project construction. Through the comparative study of the common quality control method, point out that the control charts is not a simply post test with the statistic, but a dynamic process quality control methods, it has the advantage of a dynamic, process and prevention. However, it need to collect large samples data when control charts is used to control quality, while we often encounter the problem of insufficient sample data in the quality control in the course of the construction project. Hence, this paper propose that the similar processes can be classified to group to expand the sample size by group technology, while the feasibility of the group technology is applied in the quality control in the course of construction project is studied. Group technology can classified a large number of similar processes in the construction project into processes group, the transformation of the quality characteristics data in the different processes can be translated into the same distribution with the same parent sample data, so as to expand the sample number to solve the problem by lack of sample data so as to do not calculate control charts boundaries. Thus the control charts can be used to monitor the process quality and predict the quality development trends, so as to achieve the quality control purpose in the construction project. Because the average standard deviation control charts has the advantages of strong detection capability, highly sensitive, so this paper built the group mean standard deviation control charts. According to the different sub-project has the different quality assurance requirement in the construction project, this paper propose the calculation method of construction project process capability index, so as to the calculation result is more consistent with the actual of the construction project quality inspection and assessment. Finally, this paper take the actual construction project as an example to be analyze by the group mean standard deviation control charts, and calculate the processes capability index and construction project processes capability index respectively, validate the feasibility and applicability of the group control charts of the quality control in the course of construction project.Through the study of the quality control in the course of construction project, enriches the theory of the quality control in the course of construction project. It provide theoretical basis and practical guidance for the quality control in the course of construction project.
