Study On Landscape Design Of High-rise Residential In Mountainous Regions

The western development strategy, Three Gorges Project and other actions have stimulated the staggering development in the western mountainous regions; especially the urban construction in Chongqing, as the only western municipality directly under the Central Government, has made phenomenal progress. It is a dominant form of residential district in mountainous city and an effective measure avoiding city scramble in the mountainous city characterized by scarce land resources to construct high-rise residential district.The importance attached to the landscape of the mountainous high-rise residential district is the resident subject's inevitable requirement for "comfortable" and "beautiful" and "ecological" living environment at a specific geographic environment in a definite stage of social economy development. Compared with plain city, high-rise residential construction in mountainous city has its own particular characteristics. The fundamental difference between mountainous and plain city is the mountainous topography which strongly not only influences the landscape element organization, spatial form and overall residential character of the high-rise residential district, but significantly impact the aesthetics, psychological demands, security and a sense of belonging of the residential occupants. Although the term " landscape" is a concept with broad significance, we, always based on the most essential three elements of the landscape design: "Form", "sentiment" and "ecology" as the criterion when combing and applying the theory in the papers, analyze the potential particularity of the landscape design in high-rise residential district in mountainous city and try to integrate various elements of high-rise residential district and discuss design development model suitable for the outside environment of high-rise residential district in accordance with the development demands for the living environment and then propose well-directed design methods and strategies. There will be a certain guiding sense for the development and construction of the environmental landscape of mountainous high-rise residential district. Meanwhile, some methods and strategies also have a certain reference value for the high-rise residential district in plain city.The research contents of the subject in this papers can be grouped into the following four parts:â‘ Introduction - present the background information related to the topic. It firstly analyzes and discusses the phenomenon of exponential growth in mountainous high-rise residential district and its cause, further analyzes some problems in the environmental landscape construction of the rapid development of mountainous high-rise residential district resulting from the sudden influence of the urbanization process and concludes that the landscape design of the mountainous high-rise residential district is in urgent need to be improved, then further analyzes the purpose and significance of the research according to the necessity, importance and feasibility of the landscape design of mountainous high-rise residential district. Finally, the paper summarizes the primary research content, research methods and frameworks, concentrates on the main points and clarifies its main idea.â‘¡Perception of landscape of mountainous high-rise residential district - Firstly, the paper analyzes and defines the important concepts involved in the research and the scope of the research. It elaborates the compositions and important influencing factors of the landscape of mountainous high-rise residential district, summarizes the development and evolution characteristics and rules and masters the design trends, and further summarizes the features of the landscape of mountainous high-rise residential district, that is, three-dimensional level, organic flexibility, natural ecology, constraint and coordination, intensive composition and composite utilization, through the lateral and vertical comparisons between the plain high-rise residential district and mountainous low-rise and multi-rise residential district.â‘¢Theory building and analysis - the integrated use of interdisciplinarity is an important prerequisite for the analysis of the landscape design of mountainous high-rise residential district. By using the knowledge of visual aesthetics, behavioral psychology and landscape ecology, this paper analyzes and addresses many problems in the landscape design of mountainous high-rise residential district and builds the basic theoretical direction and puts forwards the application of relevant theory to the design by case study.â‘£Conclusion - Finally, reviewing the whole chapter and showing great foresight vision, this paper makes two summary proposals in a higher view for the sound development of the landscape design of mountainous high-rise residential district.
