| Kindergarten is the place where the children having their pre-school education. It is worth pointing out that the outdoor space is more essential than indoors and cannot be substituted for the activity of children. Nowdays, more and more buildings have been constructed which left children with even less playing space and also result in that the quality of construction of kindergarten becomes declined. Architects tend to design the buildings from adults'point of view, which is from their day to day experience but lacking the concerns as well as the scientific research in children. In other words, designers pay more attention to the appearance rather than concerning the psycho-behavior aspect of children. Hence, they are not able to supply the excellent environment.This dissertation will examine in the psychology and playing environment aspect of children as a guide, conduct more research on the style of children's activities, and analyze the merits and demerits of environment. Then, the writer summarizes the strategy in problem-solving, suggesting the ways and approaches of designing the appropriate play zones.Initially, the dissertation introduces the definition of outdoor spatial environment and look into the characters of children's psychological behaviors and needs, in order to show the evidences in outdoor spatial environment.Moreover, the advantages and disadvantages are to be summarized from the various types of outdoor spatial environment as a image parameter through researching the different kindergarten and analyzing regional environment, space designs, environmental factors, behavioral exercise.Finally, the writer puts forward a strategy of outdoor spatial environment, i.e. the entrance space of kindergarten, boundary space, activities space, transporting space and vegetative landscape space while focusing on the psychological and behavioral characters of children. |
