Water Supply System Of Towns: Status, Problems And Solutions

Water supply system arrangement of towns is an important part of construction of new cities. I selected Zhuji and Yuhang as research objects. Based on the full research of water supply status of towns in Zhejiang, the writer analyzed and generalized the main issues in water supply urbanization of towns in Zhjiang. Also, the writer did a comprehensive and systematic strategic research on how water supply of towns could support Sustainable economic and social development of the cities and promote the urbanization process. We discussed the basic ideas, principles, objectives on the basis of the construction of the market economy, and proposed the measures to improve the water supply system of towns, which is on the basis of the identification of water demand indicators and water pipe network construction. The government should change the management mechanism of water supply enterprises, promote the development of regional water supply strategies and achieve the goal of water supply urbanization.
