"Lovely culture"is a kind of cultural form which holds the feature such as simplicity, naturalness, humor, relaxedness and so on. "Lovely culture" that is popular in current reveals the people's cultural demand, pursuit of aesthetic appreciation, and life attitude; As a kind of an ideology,"Lovely culture"need to be reflected by three external forms including language, behavior, and items. In modern commercial society, the main external form of lovely culture is the lovely production, which means the consuming lot of lovely products is the main way of the lovely culture. The prevalence and good sale of lovely products provides the new design concept and idea for the products designing in all over the world including our country. The product design should reflect the dual characteristics of practical function and cultural functions of the product.The product design should meet people double psychological needs, material and cultural needs. And especially it should meet the psychological tendency of being lovely. Therefore, this paper tries to discuss and summarizes the principle and method of application in the products design based on both experience and achievement; and it attempts to offer beneficial reference in designing lovely products.
