The commercial space plays such a role of providing service for the customers. As stated in La consommation des signes (Consumption symbols, written by Baudrillard,1976), the use of goods are not regarded as the purpose of consumption any longer, which has been focused on the symbolic value and the activities of customers have tended to be non-rational. That is, when people go to a space for consumption, they are not just for eating and drinks, but to consume the culture or value of brand provided by a designer. So a good idea will serve as a symbol of consumption and attract the customers, therefore this consumption process can distinguish their identity.I believe that the scenario design is responsible for the enhanced symbolic value of this difference.The overall objective of this research is to develop the method of generating spacial grammar and establishing scenario space through some research. To achieve this goal, elements of space are studied first and then the thinking on the context are introduced into design; create scenario in commercial space by analyzing the elements of situational context and collecting the information of objectives, and then map this image to convey the story of spacial situational context; explore the generation of spacial grammar in the scenario space by creating situational context and using dynamic and static elements composing scenario space; confirm the feasibility of application through case studies. Context image map is a role of basic tone and background, while the expression combining static and dynamic is playing the role of narrative and processes. The combination of image and space creates a scenario space.Firstly, the paper begins with studying the feasibility of scenario application in commercial space:discusses the art characteristic of commercial space design and market, and then evaluate the prospects of space scenario design using the method combined with aesthetics, art design, cognitive psychology and brain science. The evaluation is assisted by the data from questionnaire of the consumer.Secondly, propose the method of establishing commercial scenario space:starts from the study of commercial space scenario design, and then establish consumers-space environment - space props and interactive systems through analyzing the related elements in the scenario design, including natural elements and visual elements.Then, explore the spatial context in the semantic knowledge of material generation method, combined with dynamic and static situational method.Finally, do the case studies of exhibition space and club space design experiments, to study the process of target topics and the construction of scenarios to achieve the semantics of case generated. Discuss some principles in the detail of cases studies, and then submit a schematic as the desired results, to provide a reference for the subsequent design.
