MSP (Multi-step pushover) method is a simplified dynamic method. It's a Pushover means which is used napped structures damaged state of earthquake response. Firstly, it enters the earthquake response spectrum. Then according to the dynamic characteristics of distribution of load, adds load gradually, and then gradually thrusts.Finally we can receives the maximum earthquake response of the structure's broken.This paper chooses 39 high-level residential which is very representative of Qingdao, and uses the MSP method to study the seismic vulnerability of stiffness model. Under different site conditions is calculated on the building structure, the structure to collapse from the deformation process, according to the seismic response of Qingdao City high-rise residential plotted the seismic vulnerability curves by nonlinear time history analysis method of seismic response of structural system as a standard, by constantly modify the establishment of new damage secant stiffness stiffness model.According to the research of high-rise housing in Qingdao City, concludes that structural displacement, the structure of the first order vibration period, and the site are the predominant period of the main factors which affect the correction factor.The calculated results show that the proposed high-rise residential structures damaged of Qingdao stiffness model which can forecasts the region the seismic response provides a simple and effective method, at the same time, it also accelerates the following improvement and development of the MSP method.
