In recent years, as China's rapid economic development, the automotive industry has entered a period of prosperity. In the future, safer, greener, more efficient cars will be more dominant in the automotive market.EPS has many advantages over HPS, so it will be more and more common in the future automotive. In this paper, some key technologies in EPS were studied, and some optimized ideas were provided. Design and verification were also involved.As the conventional contact-styled torque sensor usually has short service life, the paper developed non-contact torque base an inductors. The paper presents an idea that the new CDC chips can be used in angle sensor for EPS. The signal processing circuit is integrated together with the torque sensor, which makes efficient use of MCU.For ECU, the paper presents some aspects of rational optimization, including the speed signal processing, multi-channel signal acquisition, power steering strategies, the motor current sampling, the improved PID algorithm, and so on.Finally, the test verified some aspects of the study in this paper.
