With the shortage of energy becoming serious increasingly, the Electric PowerSteering System(EPS) a widely attention. EPS has the advantages of energy-saving,environment friendly and assistant torque varying with vehicle speed, it has thetendency to replace traditional Hydraulic Power Steering System(HPS). Steering sensoras the key components of EPS, affecting the whole to the performance of the system. Inview of the past to sensor can only a single measurement steering wheel torque of angle, this thesis studies a kind of can simultaneously measure the torque and angle to theintegration of the sensor. At first, the thesis respectively counter rotating torque sensor and angle sensor isanalyzed, and description of the advantages and disadvantages. Select the magneticresistance effect of Anisotropic Magnetoresistance Resistance(AMR) effect as the basicprinciple of sensor, and research of integrated magnetic resistance type torque and anglemeasuring sensor principle of work.Secondly, this paper developed a new torque and angle of integration of the sensor. On this basis, including the sensor structure, each part has carried on the theoreticalanalysis and design, implements the torque and angle of non-contact detection at thesame time. Again, the thesis presents the design of the sensor hardware circuit, andusing the CORDIC algorithm. At last, the design of the sensor integration static calibration decive, and used thefour experiment scheme measuring angle and torque. Calibration tests were carried out,the design of the integrated sensor torque and angle accuracy can reach the relevantindicators, and basic for meeting the electric power steering system performancerequirements of the sensor.
