It has improved the quality of the die design.The calculation precision of the trimming curve is an important aspect on die trimming process. Text has analyzed and contrasted several exist algorithms of trimming curve. For their shortcomings, it proposes an algorithm that bases on UG/Open to calculate the preliminary trimming curve, and optimizes the trimming curve with anti-algorithm. The algorithm has improved the calculation precision of the trimming curve.For big rebound auto panels, text proposes to simulate drawing and trimming with the algorithm of dynamic explicit and static implicit expression, then analyzes the spring back with sham accomplishments equation. According to analysis result it compensates trimming die. The method has reduced the spring back to the trimming quality influence.As the engine skid plate, the research findings have been applied to the trimming process. In this way the part has been produced, and the actual size is within allowable error.
