Design And Experiment Research For Double Diesel Generating Sets Test Plantform

Diesel generator set is widely used as important main power or standby power in some fields such as communication, military, hospital, mineral, oil field and so on. In order to meet the need of capacity enhancing and back up, the parallel operation of the diesel generator sets is a problem which must be solved. Consequently, realize the parallel operation and disconnect operation successfully, optimize the control characteristic and improve the quantity and stability are the important research fields on diesel generator sets parallel operation.This paper took the need of capacity enhancing and back up proposed in practical application and performance and technical index of the diesel generator set into consideration, designed the diesel generator sets parallel operation test-bed, and made experimental study on it.In this paper choose the MC9S12XDP512 microcontroller produced by Motorola United States Consumer Electronics as the core controller to realize the control of parallel operation of diesel generator sets, and the circuit diagrams for measure the parameters of diesel generator set also designed. The monitoring interface of loading system of diesel generator set is compiled by VB6.0, for the purpose of realizing communication with the load box and control of the load box.At last, experimental study on diesel generator sets at different operating mode is made, and the results obtained in experiment are analyzed. From the analysis, the performance index of the diesel generator sets parallel operation test-bed is obtained, which validated the designed diesel generator can satisfy the prospective design indexes. The conclusion of the paper can supply hardware condition and theoretical basis for the follow-up research.
