| Refer to domestic and international marine diesel engine electronic control system development and status of the investigation, according to the relevant marine equipment design specifications, proposed MDECS (Marine Diesel Electronic Control System) design concept. MDECS is a set of monitoring, alarm, control and security features in one of the marine diesel engine electronic control system design, modular design, the system consists of a number of independent hardware module. Each module can be configured by software and can be adapt to all types of marine diesel engine control needs, with a universal, adaptable object points, in line with the development of engine room automation technology requirements.MDECS (Marine Diesel Electronic Control System) system is designed, the system is divided into several independent functional modules, and the function of each module, the system of internal and external communications and implementations of various functions are discussed. In the article, the author described how a common ECU hardware for each module should be designed.
