Research On Urban Waste Management

With the continuous development of China’s economy and the gradual improvement of people’s awareness of social civilization, the public health problem has become a hot and important issue to be incorporated into the public management. The problem of municipal solid waste management in public environmental sanitation is also becoming increasingly prominent. Urban waste management problems not only affect the city’s environment and quality of life, but also the health of the city residents have an important impact. Therefore, the problem of municipal solid waste management is also more and more concerned by the society, the media, the government and so on. Guangzhou City as one of China’s five major urban centres, driven by the rapid economic growth and the construction of a new city, Guangzhou economic rapid development at the same time, production of municipal solid waste(MSW) also in the rapid increase, plagued by serious people’s lives. Due to the Guangzhou urban life garbage disposal is a long time, how to effectively deal with the rubbish in cities, for the general public to create a good working and living environment, has become the Guangzhou municipal government for a long time has been plagued and urgent problem.In this paper, the theory of eco city, new urbanism, overall governance, public services and other, the Guangzhou municipal waste management research. The full text is divided into chapters. The first chapter is the introduction, including research background, research significance, domestic and foreign research condition, research methods of content. The second chapter for the municipal solid waste management research from the perspective of the theory: Ecological City, new urbanism, overall governance and public services. The third chapter is the status quo of the current situation of urban garbage disposal in Guangzhou. The fourth chapter is aimed at the problems mentioned in the paper. The fifth chapter is the analysis of the causes of the problems, that is, the reasons of the problems of urban waste disposal in Guangzhou. Respectively from the government, the waste management system, the public and the three aspects of the analysis and research in Guangzhou garbage disposal process to produce the root causes of the problem. The sixth chapter is to solve the problem, that is, to improve the management of urban waste classification in Guangzhou.
