The Study Of GIS-based Environmental Management Information System On Xinyi Economic Development Zone

In this paper, the environmental management of Xinyi Economic Development Zone was taken as the background. The developing method of environmental management information system was proposed for the integration and devolopment of the environmental management information system of Xinyi Economic Development Zone on base of the GIS platforms and object components. This developing method adapt the environmental characteristics and the specific management requirements of the Xinyi Economic Development Zone. The basic ideas, design method and devoloping tools of the research of the GIS for the environmental management was showed in this paper and the valuable expericence for the design of the large-scale environmental management information system was well summaried. The main contents of this paper include 1. design the properties database for the system using the method of data flow analysis,data entity relationship analysis and data dictionary analysis; 2 using layers analysis method to design the spatial database, analysis the system requirements,analysis the system data, design the system function and show a system development example Etc. System will generate and manage spatial database,through using space for space analyze model, this system provids multiple environmental policy support function,as well as utilize the data analysis function offered,combining the emergency pollution model,a visual display effect of the contaminants monitoring can be achieved. Secondly, this article also has research on the system design and development process as well as the database design etc, a method of basic space information query, throughout statistic and monitoring data analysis, environment situation assessment, the environment prediction evaluation, models coupling and so on,to offer decision-making supported by using of many techniques has been managed. At last the system interface was designed and the GIS-based environmantal management information system of the Xinyi Economic Development Zone was initially created which met the actual practical needs of the environmental management of Xinyi Economic Development Zone.
