Environmental Management Information System Based On Component Gis Development

Since the 80' s of 20 centuries, along with the national information push forward continuously, the domestic has developed several environments management information system. Compared with a few already high information professions, such as finance, electric power, finance... etc., the information of the environmental protection system is basically lacking. Whether on administration management or on the business handles, the application is still weaker.Based on the principle of the Com-GIS and it's technique, taking Yongkang environment management information system as an example, the application of CIS system integrated technology in this system was mainly studied in the thesis and some related function modules were developed catering to the actual need of the environment administrative department. The integrated mapping application programmer in C/S (client/server) developing module using the integrated technology of Visual Basic and Com-GIS software SuperMapIII and adoption SQL Server as database was developed. The developing of Com-GIS-based environment management information system realized the integrated management of the texts and maps of the environment monitoring data, solved the inefficiency and inconvenient problem in the environment management and met the demand of environment monitoring, data processing, environment forecast of environment administrative department.Moreover, as an applied realm of GIS application system in environment manage, this paper discussed environment emergency management application mode which based on GIS system and combined with RS, GPS, ES, VS.
