Construction And Testing Of Ecological Civilization Literacy Assessment System

Along with ecological problems, energy problems continue to appear, China accelerated the pace of ecological protection. Literacy has impact on behaviors; we should enhance the ecological literacy in the whole society. However, habits are hard to be changed, so the government should take the control and do something to converse the situation. In this paper, I attempt to construct the concept of ecological civilization literacy and the evaluation, hoping for giving some references to the administrations.In this paper, through the text reading method, data analysis, logic analysis method I confirm the specific meaning of the ecological civilization literacy. Ecological civilization literacy is an individual accomplishment through the conscious and unconscious acquired learning and evolving humans and other species on the dynamic, living environment and linked to the overall culture of individual green, harmonious and sustainable development of cognitive status and ability, the general characteristics of initiative and ability. And its assessment index includes initiative about ecological civilization, ecological sensitivity, ecological civilization values, ecological civilization knowledge, and ecological civilization skills. In building a complete evaluation and measurement system, this paper did a small range survey.The results of this study include: First, the measurement established by the pre-experiment questionnaire obtained a good reliability and validity and proved that it is a qualified questionnaires measuring quality of ecological civilization literacy; Second, through the Delphi method and AHP, I determined evaluation index weights of the ecological civilization literacy; third, after the small range assessment, I found the result of eco-civilization literacy of this group was at middle level. These people had much knowledge about Eco-civilization and really did very well in their normal life, but they did not love the nature deeply and they did not want to get involved in such stuff and they did not want to do the things which may hurt their own profit to help contributing Eco-civilization. What's more, after the assessment, I found the results may different between people who grew up in different region, people who has different education experience, people who is in different parties, and people who work at different administrative level.
