Study On CNC/CAM System Of Modern Woodworking Machine

CNC/CAM system is software part of NC machine, but compared with metal NC machine, wood NC machine develop relatively backward, it could not meet the demands of advanced modern wood NC machine’s hardware. So this paper designs a CNC/CAM system which is suitable for modern woodworking machine.This project is from basic research found of Research Institute of Forestry New Technology. After analysis on the characteristics of woodworking progress and the features of the woodworking machine, we develop a CNC/CAM system of modern woodworking machine, which includes operation interface, back ground processing center, woodworking tools added area and NC code conversion program. Through using this system, we achieve the goal and have a good effect in.the practical operation.There are two innovative points in the thesis:(1) In ordering to let operation interface and back ground processing center to exchange messages, we integrate three kinds of programming language (VB.NET, PowerMILL, Visual studio) as one.(2) To change the NC code type of woodworking machine into the type of international standard, we design the post processing program.
