In the research project of Special Post Processor(SPP) for SIEMENS 802S CNC System by JiuJiang Mechanical and Electronic Research Institution,The WZX.PST is researched and opened out that is a SPP on the Mastercam9 which has default Generic Post Processor(GPP) MPFAN.PST,contraposing the special CNC Mill Machine Tool which type is XK160P ,that is equipped with SIEMENS 802S CNC System.These correlative control sentences and variables are adjusted and designed renewedly that are for CNC head and start and tail ect, according to programme criterion about 802S.The canned drilling cycles are anatomized deeply and a plan is bringed forward that uses combination of G00 ect replacing equivalently G81 ect which are not recognized by 802S. The programming technology about 0.001 micron's precision is discussed by setting up correlative taches and variables. Analyzing advantage of circle or arc programme by single stock and control logic function of correlative variables, The SPP is redesigned for circle or arc programme to output CNC code by single stock and different programme format.In the end, the strategy is discussed that can Integrate the SPP WZX.PST and PC and Mastercam9 and the special CNC Mill Machine Tool into an organic whole 3D CAD/CAM system, and the WZX.PST is compared with the MPFAN.PST in programming and CNC machining.Some representative parts and complex surface which are programmed automatically and machined practically are selected, and the result is that the SPP WZX.PST can adapt well itself to the special CNC Mill Machine Tool comparing with the MPFAN.PST and meet the demand for all kinds of CNC machining .
