This thesis, supported by the project of the reasoning based 3D reconstruction methods of mine, studies an embedded 3D modeling method of mines to address many problems about the existing modeling methods and the spatial inconsistency. The researches in this thesis are summarized as follows:1. The basic characteristics of 3D entities of mine are summarized and analyzed. And, relying on the varirational status in the producing process, the entities can be classified into two types, the static entities and the dynamic entities.2. In accordance with the practical mine actities, the embedded 3D modeling method of mines is proposed in order to conveniently update the data of 3D mining. The framework of the modeling method is explained completely. For the existing problems of the traditional 3D reconstruction methods of mine via exploration profile, the method of 3D mine modeling of static entities is developed, and the exploration-profile-coordinating-system transformation from 2D to 3D is elaborated. In terms of the variational characters of the dynamic entities, the Analogical Tri-Prism(ATP) based 3D modeling method is studied, too. Then, the embedded method to manager both the modelings is elaborates, about which the data model and the expression of spatial relationships and other theoretics are described at length.3. On the basis of the theoretics of spatial relationships and interrelated theories, the method to detect inconsistency among the profiles and the connecting method basing on the spatial reasoning for the profiles are stated. Moreover, the inconsistency detection method among the dynamic entities is probed. The method to build Tri-prism voxel via constructing triangulation between two adjacent layers is studied. The method to embed the dynamic entities into the static entities is investigated basing on spatial reasoning. Some experiments demonstrate the feasibility of the method raised in this thesis. Finally, after concluding all the research work in this thesis, some deficiencies and the following work are discussed, which include (1) seeking the solutions to handle space inconsistency of the mine entities, (2)researching the measurement method of the static entities' volume, and (3) expressing orientation relationships among the 3D mine entities.
