| The Scholars , a realistic masterpiece , truly recorded the dietetic activities of the middle and lower common people in the Kang -Qian Heyday from the Ming Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty . This thesis observes and studies the dietetic phenomenon , clarifies the thoughts of dietetic culture in The Scholars .The thesis is composed by five parts . The first chapter is the introduction , which summarizes the domestic and foreign research survey of Chinese dietetic culture up to now and briefly introduces its value , significance and method of study . The second chapter comprehensively inspects the regional and graduational nature of the dietetic culture in The Scholars . and points out that the diets of lower reaches of the Yangtze River reflected the characteristic which many kinds of regional diets blended in the 18th century ; explains that the dietetic graduation had the fuzzy tendency and didn't inevitably equate with the social stratum of feudal crowd . The third chapter collects and interprets many kinds of diets , raw materials and processing methods in The Scholars , and simply analyses the varied reasons of dietetic status in the daily life . The fourth chapter more comprehensively discusses a large number of dietetic folkways in The Scholars and reveals the dietetic thoughts of the rich traditional color , including the dietetic morals of Confucianism , the dietetic courtesy and the immaculate dietetic taste in the light of Wu Jingzi's thoughts . The conclusion simply probes into the cultural reason which many dietetic lives had been described in a lot of classical novels and summarizes several essential points in the thesis . |
