The Pollutant-holding Capability Of The Rivers In Huaibei City And The Study Of The Pollution Control

The pollutant-holding capability which reflects the law of transference and transformation of the contaminant is the basis of the total amount control of the blow-down and the water environment protection, and the quantity assessment of that has great significance for the water environment protection. With the fast development of the economy and the society, a large amount of contaminanted water from the factories and sanitary waste water are poured into the rivers As a result, the rivers are polluted seriously which cause bad effects on the development of the environment and the society in Huaibei city.Based on the date of "the plan of the water resource in Huaibei city", the characteristics of the river pollution in Huaibei city were analysed. The water function area of the rivers were divided, the water quality standard and the length of the water function area were set up, the contaminant into every function area were confirmed. With the hydrodynamic principle, water quality model was set up and the pollutant-holding capability in different discharge of the rivers was calculated. According to the division of water function area, the water quality standard,the total amount control and the reduction of the sewage discharge were confirmed and Some project and non-project measures were put forward for the improvement of the water environment in Huaibei city.
