Study On The Assessment And Optimization Of Urban Human Settlements Quality In Shijazhuang

Human settlements are not only the basis of survival and development of human being, but also the important sign of measuring social advancement and cultural development. During the process of urbanization, many urban problems come froth gradually, such as population expending, environment pollution, traffic jam, housing stress, indifference in neighborhood, the loss of city feature, rupture of history development, which has endangered human settlements, and the public has already shown great concern about them. So problems about human settlements have attracted more and more attention of decision-makers, and the study on assessment and optimization of urban human settlements quality has been the focus of urban problem study.On the basis of the theories and assessment methods of urban human settlements in both china and overseas, considering the developing features of Shijiazhuang and conforming to the constructing principles of index system, index system of urban human settlements of Shijiazhuang is constructed. Based on the analytic hierarchy process and the analytic principal components process, the dissertation has a practical study on urban human settlements of Shijiiazhung and according to the results of the calculations, the dissertation has an analysis about the human settlements of the city in four aspects: developing trend analysis along with time sequence, subsystems analysis, hypo-subsystems analysis and developing feature analysis, drawing main conclusions as the following:1. Before 2005, the development of human settlement of Shingjiazhuang had experienced four stages along with time sequence: slow development, rapid development, fluctuating development and stable development; the dissertation predicts that the urban human settlements will be improved increasingly in the following years.2. The rapid development of social system and supporting system are the propellers of the urban human settlements of Shijiazhuang, but the relative backwardness of ecosystem and housing system is the bottleneck.3. The urban human settlements of Shijiazhuang, which will transfer from hard surrounding dominated era to soft surrounding dominated era, have a distinct feature of middle-stage industrialization.Finally, based on the conclusions above, the immediate objective of the construction of urban human settlements of Shijiazhuang the dissertation puts forward is to construct high quality urban human settlements and the final objective is to construct ecological urban human settlements. The dissertation gives specific measures to optimize social system, supporting system, ecosystem and housing system, which is to provide reference for improving urban human settlements quality of Shijiazhuang.
