Abstract/Summary:
The paper introduce the development of antibacterial materials at home and abroad, the significance of the development of antimicrobial fabrics and preparation of cotton antibacterial fabrics with superfine inorganic composite antibacterial agent. Discussion of the theoretical foundation powders antibacterial technology and develope a preparation of a new ulta-fine powder technology inorganic antibacterial compound.First, multi-step precipitation method for the preparation of superfine powders inorganic antimicrobial compound for qualitative and quantitative analysis. Comprehensive analysis of suitable conditions with single factor and orthogonal test: titanium concentration of raw materials is 100~120g/L, hydrolysis reaction temperature is 100℃, deionized water is 85mL, hydrolysis time is 50min, phosphate precipitation time is 10min, aging process is in water bath at 65℃around 8h, calcination temperature of 700℃,3h.Second, research on the inorganic antibacterial compound of superfine powder's dispersion, the experimental results show the use of ultrasonic and add dispersant best effect combine hexametaphosphate. Finally, antimicrobial powder used of antibacterial finishing of cotton textiles, determine the best form of slurry collate is: antibacterial agent 2%, dispersant 0.1%, binding agent 15%, thickener 1.5%; the diversion of time in every stages is 25min, 2.00%~3.00% quality of cloth-like coating capacity of all properties can be obtained good antibacterial fabric.The performance of test result show:1 )When antibacterial agents' s concentration is 100mg/L, under the condition of dark environment, the powder has 99.0% bactericidal action on E.coli, S.aures and C.albicans within 30 minutes. And the powder has good weatherability and antimicrobial lasting. The average size of antibacterial powder around the 130nm measurement by Laser Particle Size Analyzer, uniform size and attend submicron. The chemical composition of powder is Ag0.03Zr0.15Ti0.33P0.11O0.34 measured by XRF. 2) The antimicrobial fabric has 99.5% bactericidal action on E.coli, S.aures and C.albicans within 120 minutes under the condition of dark environment; and it has 97.5% bactericidal action after it is washed 50 times, so it has fairly washfastness. The fabric also has good moisture permeability and weatherability.
