Research On The Land Comprehensive Carrying Capacity Of Xinjiang Based On GIS

The land resource is material base of the whole national economic and social development. With the development of population's growth, industrialization and urbanization, the land resource is in its limit edge of carrying capacity for a long time. So the land issue is the key problem in the investigation about the strength of resources bear the weight all the time. This paper regards geographical information system (GIS) as the means, utilize it's abundant figure editor instrument, convenient data base management system and strong function of space data analyse and dispose, according to the realistic resource condition of the regional state or city of Xinjiang, to analyse relevantly in the factor that influencing the land comprehensive carrying capacity of Xinjiang. And according to attribute of every factor and power of influencing each other, to confirm three supporting systems of the land comprehensive carrying capacity: natural supporting system, economic supporting system, societal supporting system. Each supporting system choose a lot of indexes form the index system of Xinjiang land comprehensive carrying capacity, have chosen 29 indexes altogether. Through the processes as follows: construct the index system, confirm the index weight, choose the mathematics model, set up the database, analyse and dispose the data, output the result, etc, to calculate the index of the comprehensive carrying capacity in the regional state and city of Xinjiang under certain society, economy, ecological environment condition at the present stage, consult ideal state value of the index under different living standards of Xinjiang, confirm the living standard of the regional state or city, analyse the carrying capacity of three systems of nature, economy , society under different living standards, the land comprehensive carrying capacity, and the harmonious degree of these three supporting systems. Moreover, this paper make the reasonable suggestions for improve the land comprehensive carrying capacity of Xinjiang, and accomplish the research on the land comprehensive carrying capacity of Xinjiang.
