Research And Development Of CNC Teaching System Based On Networking

Based on CAK6136B NC machine, according to its installed CNC system, with the aid of Visual Basic 6.0, a set of operating simulation software based on Windows used for this CNC machine has been designed, which can realize program editing, parameter setting, machine operating, process simulation and other practical simulation functions. At the same time, with the help of HTML Help Workshop, Microsoft Frontpage and Delphi, CNC teching auxiliary (help)system and teaching interacting and testing system have been developed. Thus, CNC teaching platform based on networking has been established, which includes teaching materials, teachers, equipments, and can be used for teaching and training.This paper is composed of five parts. The first part introduces the present conditions and prospect of the development of CNC teaching, CNC machine and computer simulation technique, emphasize the importance and value of research task in this field, and then the research content is listed. The second part introduces the total construcion of CNC teaching platform. The third part systematically elaborate the total construcion of CNC simulation system, including the implication and form of CNC simulation, the basic principle of CNC simulation system design, the function describing CNC simulation system, the design of total construction, the solving plan of key problems, simulation program. The fourth part introduces the CNC teching auxiliary (help)system. The last part systematically elaborates the achieving form of teaching interacting and testing system by analyzing its function model.The system can be used for both simulating opration as a kind of expected inspection before practical processing and CNC theoretical teaching to offer a good environment for teachers and students.
