The Eublemminae belongs to Lepidoptera, Noctuidae. All of the Eublemminae species are phytophagous, they feed on many crops. At present, about 19 genera, and 42 species have been known from China, but only about 30 species were known from Northeast China. The present paper deals with the systematic study on the Eublemminae from Northeast China. The paper comprised three parts. In Partâ… , the general situation of the systematic study of the subfamily in the world, characteristics, biological habits, and economic importance were introduced. In addition, the materials and methords are also reviewed. In Partâ…¡, genera and species of Eublemminae from Northeast China were identified, including 3 new recorded genera from China which were firstly used in China with Chinese names:Enisps, Paragona and Hepatica; 4 new species:Oruza jianchangensis sp. nov., Oruza benxiensis sp. nov., Oruza qingyuanensis sp. nov. and Oruza qianshanensis sp. nov.; 7 new record species from China: Enispa albosignata (Staudinger,1892), Enispa bimaculata (Staudinger,1892), Corgatha pygmaea Wileman,1911, Corgatha obsoleta Marumo,1932, Paragona multisignata (Christoph,1881), Paragabara ochreipennis Sugi,1962 and Hepatica anceps Staudinger,1892; 5 new record species from Northeast China,2 new record species from Jilin Province and 9 new record species from Liaoning Province.11 species were firstly named with Chinese names. All the species treated in this paper were described and illustrated in detail, such as adult and genital characteristics, distribution. Adults and genitalia photos were also provided. Keys to the species based on the adult genitalia were provided in the first time. Partâ…¢was conclusions and discussions. This paper provided the primary base for systematic study of Eublemminae of China. Moreover, it is of great importance in guiding the control of agricultral and forestry pests, and protection of biodiversity in Northeast China. All the specimens examined were deposited in the Insect Collection of Northeast Forestry University, China.
