It can acquire data of land which is very far away from us in unified nation geodetic coordinate system with advanced means on network , and renew and acquire these data beyond the newest image provide by department of territory in remote sensing with GIS, then rebuild the library, we do all the things above for the purpose of the modify survey of land usage .This method has many advantages such as high accuracy ,short cycle ,high efficiency and so on, it make up the disadvantages in the technology we used before.So-called network GPS is VRS(Virtual reference station),it is the technology of RTK in GPS, referenced station network of GPS continues linking with the control segment and data management segment, the center of data process continuing acquire information from all the GPS reference stations ,and build a data library about corrective quantity of a local district so that the quality of RTK positioning is improved, and at the same time we changed the situation that coordinate systems are not united, which require us exchange the measurement method. At first ,this article do a detailed introduction about the form and principles of VRS system including its form, principles, working process ,key points of its technologies and its advantages ; secondly, it do a discussion about the main error sources and summarized the reference methods to decrease the errors.The application of GIS is very common today, its strongly ability of integrating data and building libraries has already solved lots of problems for us .Then this article is going to describe how to put the content about the land exchanging of the data into GIS and finishing territory library.At last, making a practice on VRS system and analyzed it with the modify regions in the second territory survey then do a judgment of its skill in positioning.
