Studies On The Urban Plant Biodiversity In Lishui City Zhejiang Province

The plant biodiversity is not only the basis of maintaining the sustainable ecosystem productive forces, but also the foundation of human beings. On the basis of surveying to the major resource of plant species and natural forest vegetation types, the paper studied on the plant diversity in Lishui city, which can provide the guidance for the protection of urban plant diversity and the construction of urban landscape.The plant species and natural forest vegetation types were researched in the major mountains in Lishui city. The results were given as following:1. Totally, there are 2842 species, 982 genera and 206 families of vascular plants, including 41 species, 87 genera and 327 families of pteridophytes;2515 species, 867 genera and 165 families of spermatophytes. Gramineae, Compositae, Rosaceae, Leguminosae, Liliaceae, Orchidaceae, Labiatae, Rubiaceae are the most important families.2. There are 42 national rare and endangered plants, including 7 species of the first national grade, 35 species of the second national grade.3. The analysis of the families distribution pattern demonstrates that 15 types and 16 varieties of geographical elements exist, pantropic families cover the largest (17.65%),and E.Asia families, North temperate families exist in turn. The flora is a distinct blending tropical families with temperate families.4. There are 217 exotic species in Lishui city, including 161 species from abroad and 56 species from the Provincial.5. There are 171 ancient and famous trees in Lishui city, including 10 species of the first grade, 10 species of the second grade and 130 species of third grade.6. There are about nine of natural forest vegetation types in Lishui city, Such as coniferous forest, mixed wood, evergreen broad-leaved forest, evergreen deciduous broad-leaved forest, deciduous forest, mountain coppice forest, mountain shrub-herbosa, bamboo forest and economic forest .There are also 120 forest communities in Lishui city.7. On the basis of investigation to the resource, the paper planned the application and protection of urban landscape of plants in Lishui city. Also, it primary discussed the planting arrangement of different urban green Space.
