As one of the basic disciplines in natural science, physics plays an important role in the development in students' quality. College physics is one of the important basic theoretical courses in science and engineering majors, and its teaching quality has an important effect on the raising of the basic quality of the students in science and engineering majors.In order to meet the needs of the times and the development of the situation, the knowledge imparting,ability cultivating and their optimization in the process of college physics (mechanics part)teaching was analyzed in this paper. Then, how to promote knowledge and ability training and teaching to a unified goal—quality ascension was analyzed. The college physics (mechanics part) basic teaching link s(such as the main objectives of teaching, analysis of students' learning state) was analyzed, the strategy of collaborative optimization in knowledge-ability teaching was analyzed and discussed, and some teaching points of mechanics was instantiated.In the thesis, the theory of modern teaching design was carried over the process of physical teaching strategies of optimization in college physics (mechanics part), and the way of optimization in knowledge-ability teaching was discussed with the humanistic ideas and from the point of view of quality. It is hoped that this paper could help to promote the reform of college physics teaching.
