The Theoretical Research And Practice On Implementing Inquiry Learning In College Physics

Recent years, Inquiry learning is an important content of the Chinese basic educational reform, and it concentratedly indicates modern education ideas and reflects era's requirement to the education; so it makes great social impact.Regarding the origin of Inquiry learning as the background, this thesis introduces the definition, goal and history of Inquiry learning.After all, Inquiry learning is a new theory, it is only several years from putting forward the theory systematically to practising in the nationwide middle schools, so it's theory is imperfect and immature. The thesis gives reviews of some quite controversial questions in Inquiry learning theory: firstly the author discusses the definition of Inquiry learning, which includes the relationship between the course reform of basic education and Inquiry learning; the origin of Inquiry learning as a course and the method of learning; the relationship between Inquiry learning and passive learning and between Inquiry learning and disciplines. Secondly, it shows the discussion of the subject of Inquiry learning topics about student putting forward topics independently, about weakening the role of teaching techniques and putting over emphasis on the selected topics after class, about the topics and the students' interests, and about the comprehensiveness of topics.
