As the carrier and forms of landscape,Plant community isn't only the basis of urban green system, but also an important indicator to measure the level of development of city forests.West Lake National Scenic Area of Hangzhou as the first batch of 4A class scenic spot, the importance of its landscape plants resources can not be ignored.In this paper, 20 relative stability plant communities in greenbelt of West Lake scenic area were studied, the species composition,ecological structure and the species diversity of communities were analyzed, and carried out research of Air-anion and air quality changes within the plant communities.Based on the thorough investigation and analysis,20 typical plant communities were appraised on vision and ecological benefit with AHP.Then choosed 7 typical plant communities, made the ichnography of plant communities'disposal and analysed the sight effect. In the end, some measures were put forward to existing plant communities—the way of ecological landccape.The main results are as follows:1. Plant species of plant communities in West Lake National Scenic Area of Hangzhou is abundant and zone indigenous plants play significantly,but it is still lower than total indigenous plants in the region.community type of evengreen–defoliation broadleaf forest appears regularly , the structure of plant communities is multiple structure combined with arbor,bush and grass on the whole. And the species abundance degree and diversity index of communities are very high.2. Plant communities inreases Air-anion concentration significantly higher than the comparison, and most of air quality within the standard, but human disturbance marked by tourists. Air-anion concentration changes obviously during the year,the highest in summer and spring second, the fall of the third, the lowest in winter.But the air quality of plant communities is: the best spring, winter Secondly, summer of the third, the lowest in autumn..3. The result of comprehensive evaluation with AHP showes:the score of plant communities in ChangQiao park, Flower Harbor (Huagang) Park and TaiZiWan park. Is higher. But some plant communities which the performance evaluation of the ecological value higher, the quality of vision in particular need to be improved.In the end, some advices were brought forward to optimize the structure of urban greenbelt communities starting with improving community design and planting structure.The way to develop urban landscape is ecolagical landcape,which combines landscape effects and eco-efficiency. then gradually form a stable, efficient, sustainable and economy plant community to promote sustainable development of cities.
