The Research And Realization Of GIS For Urban Administration Management Information System Based On Supermap Object

Geographic Information System is a technology system.It is supported by computer software and hardware. It is based on spatial database and uses theory of system engineering and information science. It can manage and analyze spatial data, which can support planning, making decisions and research and so on. GIS is new science combining geography with computer technology. In these years, with the development of information and web technology, the concept of "digital city" has been brought forward,and GIS are moving in the direction of the network,and infiltrates into the aspect of e-govement.The demand of constructive land is growing rapidly in recent years in China. Making research on how to use GIS technology to build the examination and approval of constructive Urban Administration System, in order to solve doing things in his own way, communicating, repeated construction each other between the examination and approval of constructive land existing at present, make the examination and approving of constructive land affairs built and reach and improve government's working efficiency,lower costs and promoting basic goals,such as economy and social information-based process,etc.The paper has an in-depth research on GIS technology that has been developing with a rapid progress. Firstly, we find out the relationship between domestic and international development actuality of Examination and Approval of Constructive Urban Administration System and Supermap object technology. Then we analyze the data organization, supporting technology and research procedure about it. Finally we fix on proper system platform, modules and meshwork and choose Supermap component, a new generation GIS system which is developed by Supermap Company, as platform. We use VB6 tools that are launched by Microsoft Company, and use active technology to develop. The paper carries out research of developing GIS engine of the examination and approval of constructive Urban Administration system based on Supermap object component preferably, and finishes design of system including database design and other GIS functions related.
