Research And Design Of Tourism Information System Based On GIS

Geographical Information System(GIS) is a new direction of computer application and research.It is an integration of computer graphics,digital image processing and database management system,etc.It is a computer database management system for capturing,storing,indexing,analyzing and displaying spatial location data.It can combine spatial data and attribute data,and provide a kind of visible query method.Components Geographical Information System(ComGIS) is a method,which uses GIS's controls to develop GIS.It has high efficiency,functional equivalence and other features.With the development of information technology,the informationization of tourism industry has already become a kind of inevitable trend.In recent years, China's tourism industry has developed rapidly,but its informationization is still at an early stage of development.As a result of emphasizing on individualization,a tourism information system that provides integrated multiple functions such as recommending, guiding,management and planning is strongly expected.GIS technology that has strong spatial analysis and visualization functions offers technical support for constructing the tourism information system.In view of this,this thesis has conducted the reseach and design of tourism information system based on GIS.This thesis researches on the process of the tourism at home and abroad,and selects ComGIS as the combination of tourism industry and informationization.Based on the tourist market,this thesis takes Handan as an example,based on the analysis and the design of the GIS characteristic,the development structure,the system database,the system function,takes the ComGIS software SuperMap Objects as platform,takes SQL Server 2000 as the database,has realized system's integration with the Visual Basic,realized multimedia query,buffer analysis,overlay analysis, the optimal path and other functions.This thesis has conducted the exploring research about development of tourism information system,has certain reference to the Handan tourism information constrution,and provides comprehensively,accurate traveling information service for tourist,also provides the powerful technical support for tourist resource's scientific management and decision-making.
