Open Source Digital Global Platform Based On G/S Model

With the development of information technology, on the base of the information science and in virtue of modern information technology the researches about global science are developing and digital global has become the focus during them. Digital global platform is the show of digital global, recent years the application platform has rapidly developed which has affected people's lives in every aspect. Because of its advanced technology, better framework digital global platform based on G/S mode has become the leader of a new generation digital global platform, and has provided a new thought to solve the problems met during digital global platform in nowadays.In the paper the main object of the research is open source digital global platform World Wind, the system framwork and the key technology of digital global platform are analyzed deeply by combining the main trend of it,and grounded on the above it, theoretical research and technology investigation of the new mode G/s are made. On the basis of G/S mode, the system framwork and technology superiority of digital global platform are researched by combining the content between G/S and digital global platform.Theoretical elaboration and application example analysis of digital global platform based on G/S mode are made in the whole paper which is divided into six parts.The first part is introduction which describes the source of the topic, background, current situation at home and abroad etc, analyses and explains the purposes and meanings of the research.The second part introduces the conception of digital global platform and some main trend of it, describes in detailed the open source digital global platform World Wind which is one of the bases of the research. The third part describes in detail the theory of Geo-Information Browser/Spatial Information Server mode, compairs G/S mode with C/S and B/S mode in terms of similarities, differences and quality. And on the basis of the above, the conception of digital global platform based on G/S mode is introduced ,and based on the above,the differences between narrow sense and abroad sense of digital global platform are explained. Thus, the key technology of digital global platform based on G/S mode is analyzed and concluded.The forth part analyzes the technology of digital global platform on the basis of open source digital global platform World Wind, mainly includes software framwork,tile-pyramid system framwork,procedure,and Cache strategy ect.The fifth part comes up with the ideas to the integration of the main trend in digital global platform in nowadays.The sixth part is the core of the paper, the mainly purpose is to describe and include the application example of digital global platform based on G/S mode--UStar and digital jiuzai which is one of the examples of digital travelling with the aid of UStar. This part describes in detail the system framwork of UStar, feasibility, technical solution, system function,system characteristic etc.And it describes in detail and shows certain application of digital jiuzai based on KML/KMZ of Google Earth.Thus,it analyzes and prospects the furture application of digital global platform based on G/S mode.
