Geographic information services have quietly stepped into our lives in recent years, and geographic information services are no longer completely new for every one of us. Geographic information services are gradually being applied in various fields now. The digital earth platform has changed our daily life and makes geographic information services become more accessible to us, and it makes us recognize our common home, the earth as well. But how to make digital earth platform more intelligently provide more geographic information services for our application in various fields, and how to make geographic information services achieve sharing on the digital earth platform, these become the focus of our attention. This dissertation to the status and the existing problems of the development of geographic information services, research from the geographical information services based on the digital earth platform at the level, especially in the Web environment, how to use various existing criterions and technology to achieve geographical information sharing and to provide better services of the GIS for users. This dissertation includes the research and analysis of those relative questions of mainstream digital earth platform, exploration the technology, service discovery and registration of the platform of geographic information services based on OpenGIS and WebService, Take BeiJing tourism experimental system as an example, establishing a geographic information system by the expandedness of two mainstream digital earth platforms.Firstly, introduce the mainstream digital earth platforms nowadays, as well as their advantages and disadvantages and the major application domains. This paper takes Google Earth and World Wind the two major mainstream digital earth platform as examples to study and compare the respective features and functions, and expands the application of the two mainstream digital earth platforms. Proposed the geographic information sharing model based on OpenGIS WebService, which can solve the distribution, multi-source, and heterogeneous geographic information sharing to avoid duplicate construction and the formation of isolated information islands effectively and achieve services interoperability, integration and sharing, in order to promote the geographical information sharing of distibution, heterogeneity, multi-source spatial information resources on the network environment, different GIS applications, and heterogeneous distributed databases. Proposed the solutions of "Beijing Tourism experimental System" by integrated the mainstream digital earth platform, Google Earth or World Wind into PostGIS and GeoServer, to implement the geographical information services based on the digital earth platforms and verify its feasibility. In this dissertation, the innovation lies in four perspectives. The first, it is a Geographic information sharing model based on OpenGIS WebService. The second, conduct that OpenGIS WebService combine with digital earth, and the geographical information services model and integration based on the digital earth platform. The third, it depicts the Architecture and design of NASA WorldWindJavaSDK digital earth platform client and Ajax Web client. The forth, the tourism applications based on OGC interoperability standards,Webservice and integration of digital earth platform.
