Based on the known data and on the field survey, the composition and distribution types of Bryophytes in Qinling mountain are analyzed. There are about 270 species (including 6 varieties, 6 subspecies and 2 forms) of Hepaticae and Anthocerotae belonging to 66 genera and 35 families. 8 families 13 genus and 64 species (including 2 varieties, 1 subspecies) are newly reported in Qinling mountain. The two new species in Qinling Area. which belong to Cephaloziella Spruce are very important. They have been discovered for the first time in Qinling Area. Cephaloziella rubella (Nees) Warnst, which has been found in the Qinling Region ,mainly distributes in the NorthWest and SouthWest of China and fills the blank of middle area. The representative families are Lepidoziacea, Jungermanniaceae, Lophoziaceae, Scapaniaceae, Lophocoleaceae, Plagiochilaceae, Porellaceae, Frullaniaceae, Lejeuneaceae and Aytoniaceae. The main genera are Lepidozia, Bazzania, Jungermannia, Lophozia, Scapania, Plagiochila, Radula, Porella, Frullania, Lejeunea. With regard to the elements of the mossflora of Qinling mountain, the Holarctic elements are the most important and the East-Asiatic,Trop-Asia and Endemic to China are also abundant there. Single species in one genus and single genus in one family are rich. It shows that the composition of Bryophytes in this area is relatively simple and the extent of differentiation is not high.In order to know more about the bryoflora in this region and its relationship to the adjacent or related areas including Mt Hengduan, Hainan, Hebei Province, North-eastern China and Inner Mongolia, the author compared the species abundance, the generic similarity coefficient. The conclusion based on the above research are as follow: it has more relationship with Mt Hengduan, North-eastern China, less with Hainan and Hebei Province. Qinling mountain lies in the transitional belt temperate zone and subtropical zone, Mt Hengduan, North-eastern China and Inner Mongolia have the same condition that North temperate elements are dominance and East-Asian elements are at the second place, it is evidence to the opinion that there is one of the migrate routes from the Himalayas through QinlingMts to the northeast of China.
