The Study Of Taxology And Ecology Of Sub-aerial Blue-green Algae In Canyon Of Baishanhu From Jilin Province Jingyu County

In this paper we studied the species composition of sub-aerial blue-green algae on the lake of Bashanhu(Renyilaziduan), and the relations between ecological factors and species composition were also discussed and analyzed.We collected 242 pieces of sub-aerial algae specimens from Baishanhu of Jinlin Province in August, 2004-2005. Then we identified them by optical microscope. The result shows that there are 84 species, which are subordinated to 7 families, 18 genuses, among them, 5 species are described as new to science. The new units are: Schizothrix rupstris H. X. Xiao et S. R. Ma, sp. nov. ; Asterocapsa crassi-spinosa S. R. Ma et H. X. Xiao, sp. nov. ; Scytonema boreale S. R. Ma et H. X. Xiao, sp. nov.; Scytonema consociata S. R. Ma et H. X. Xiao, sp. nov.; Scytonema articula S. R. Ma et H. X. Xiao, sp. nov. .Jilin Province is located in the north-east of our country, water resources is abundant, Ecological environment is complicated, the characteristic of its climate and the environment had decided the distinctive quality and research of sub-aerial blue-green algae plant resources in this area. In this paper the species composition of sub-aerial blue-green algae on land was researched, an index on sub-aerial blue-green algae was compiled. In addition, the relations between species composition and ecological factors were also discussed and analyzed. After a detailed compare of frequencies of several species, it is discovered that Gloeocapsa atrata (Turp.) Kütz. and Nostoc commune have more excellent characteristics than the others to grow on land of Baishanhu. They enhance the water-holding power of soil and are good sources of organic matter, therefore we can reach the conclusion that Gloeocapsa atrata (Turp.) Kütz.and Nostoc commune can be considered as a pioneer in the improvement of ecological system of land.
