| In this paper we studied the species composition of sub-aerial blue-green algae on lava of Wudalianchi, and the relations between ecological factors and species composition were also discussed and analyzed. We collected 376 pieces of sub-aerial algae specimens from Wudalianchi of Heilongjiang Province in July, 2003. Then we identified them by optical microscope. The result shows that there are 71 species and 8 varieties on lava of Wudalianchi, among them 2 families, 6 genera, 55 species and 4 varieties are first recorded in Heilongjiang, 6 species and 4 varieties are described as new to science. The new units are: Asterocapsa virido-spinosa Y. M. Lin et H. X. Xiao, sp. nov., Scytonema concinnum Y. M. Lin et H. X. Xiao, sp. nov., Stigonema boreale Y. M. Lin et H. X. Xiao, sp. nov., Asterocapsa brunnea H. X. Xiao et Y. M. Lin, sp. nov., Stigonema concinnum Y. M. Lin et H. X. Xiao, sp. nov., Asterocapsa mollio-spina Xiu et H. X. Xiao, sp. nov., Asterocapsa alpina Cheng et Cai van hyalina Y. M. Lin et H. X. Xiao, var. nov., Phormidium laminosum (Ag.) Gom. var. maximum Y. M. Lin et H. X. Xiao, var. nov., Phormidium tenue (Menegh.) Gom. var. maximum Y. M. Lin et H. X. Xiao, var. nov., Phormidium subincrustatum Fritsch et Rich var. maximum Y. M. Lin et H. X. Xiao, var. nov..The study of taxology and ecology of sub-aerial blue-green algae of Heilongjiang was comparatively deficient in the past, and no one have concerned about the sub-aerial blue-green on lava by now. As a result, my research will supply data to study the particular function of sub-aerial blue-green in terrestrial ecosystem. In this paper the species composition of sub-aerial blue-green algae on lava was researched, an index on sub-aerial blue-green algae was compiled. In addition, the relations between species composition and ecological factors were also discussed and analyzed. After a detailed compare of frequencies of several species, it is discovered that Nostoc commune and Stigonema minutum have more excellent characteristics than the others to grow on lava of Wudalianchi. They enhance the water-holding power of soil and are good sources of organic matter, therefore we can reach the conclusion that Nostoc commune and Stigonema minutum can be considered as a pioneer in the improvement of lava. |
