The article is primarily focused on the constitution and distribution of subaerial blue- green algae at Canyon of Mt. Wunv Beauty spot in Jilin Province and the connection between subaerial blue- green algae and environmental factors. During the growth season(mainly July-September)from 2002 to 2004, over 600 pieces of subaerial algae specimens were identified at Canyon of Mt. Wunv. Among them, 106 species belong to subaerial blue-green algae, which are subordinated to 7 families, 17 genuses. 87 species are frist recorded in Jilin province (Chroococcaceae 22, Cyanostylona- ceae 3, Stignoemataceae19, Nostocaceae 5, Scytonemataceae 30, Osicillatoriaceae 5, Rivularia- ceae 3). 23 species of them are described as new ones to science (Cyanostylonaceae 4, Asterocapsa 7, Tolypothrix 3, Stigonema 5, Scytonema 1, Schizothrix 1, Dichothrix 2), 13 species have been published. Three great familes' indexes of the 106 species were compiled, and morphologic descriptions of these new species were described in the artical. The distribution of blue- green blue-green algal community at Canyon of Mt.Wunv was studied with the indentifed species in one growth season. The relations between specific composition and ecological factors of Mt.Wunv Canyon were also analyzed. The discussion focused on the distributional orderliness of different humidity and different altitude and the distributional characteristic in shape of blue algal community. In addition, blue- green algae's combinatorial modes were described in this paper. After a detailed research, we make the following conclusions. The species are comparatively abundant in the place. The subaerial blue-green algae are definitely different in diverse growth-surfaces. The subaerial blue- green algaes on moist or water-dripping surfaces are comparatively abundant, the ones on water-splashing sufaces are little, and those on drying sucfaces are nearly nought. According to the difference in preponderant species and accessorial species, the blue-green algal communities can be classified to two modes: globose algal community and flaceous algal community, and each mode is composed of some small modes. There are different combinatorial modes in the algal community. It is the result of evolution, the compositive circumstance's evolution and it has important theoretic signification to blue- green algae's form and evolvement.
