This paper is one of the important components of the project"Research on forest ecosystem plant function group and the dynamic in the transition region from the north subtropics to warm temperate zone"which is funded by the country natural sciences fund[No.30570301].The author applies 3S technology to the study on the Funiushan Nature Reserve in order to make it realize scientific management,effective protection and sustainable exploitage. Based on the MSS,Landsat5 TM and Landsat7 ETM imagine and the characteristic of the study area, classification the interpretation symbols were established and the maps of the resources in 1979,1991 and 2002 were made. By using the indexes of the landscape pattern: landscape diversity index, landscape dominance index, landscape fragmentation index, distribution centroid and extended dimension, this article presents the dynamic change of Funiushan Nature Reserve in spatial pattern from 1979to 2000. The thesis is discusses from the following parts:Part 1:Preface, The summary of the study background and the significance of this article research.Part 2: The general situation of area researched, including its position, range, natural condition and society-economy situation were narrated.Part 3: Research methods and the technology path.We mainly introduce the research methods and technology path.Part 4: The models of the Funiushan Nature Reserve patterns change were identified.Part 5: Result of the research. By using these models, landscape patterns and changes in Funiushan Nature Reserve from 1979 to 2000 were analyzed.Part 6: Analysis of the driving force,analyzing the natural driving force and human driving force.Part 7:The conclusions.From above analysis, we can draw a conclusion that: the area of different landscape types changed from 1979 to 2000 and landscape pattern changed. The whole landscape were jarless though the number of high-overcast landscape added 110% and landscape fragmentation index accelerated.With the analysis of the driving force, we concluded that landscape change were correelative with slope and aspect genes, disrelated with latitude gene. Nature reserve are important in protecting bio-diversity and forest cover.
