Applied Study Of Tourism Environmental Bearing Capacity In Sustainable Development Of Tourism Area

With the improvement of standard of living and increase of leisure time, tourism becomes a style which makes people to pursuit the healthy life. After Second World War, with the development of world economy, some new characteristic of tourism come forth. Entering into the New Century, the demand for tourism becomes diversity. In early time, tourism was entitled "smokeless industry", for the scale of tourism is small and its harm for environment is also small, whenas the profit is great. With the development of tourism and the increasing of the visitor, the adverse impacts toward environment come forth. Because of the limit of economy,environment and society, the carrying capacity of scenic area is finite. A series of problems will come into being when the carrying capacity is exceeded. How to achieve the sustainable development of tourism becomes an important task to governor.The appearance of Tourism Environmental Carrying Capacity makes the sustainable development possible. The concept of TECC goes through this process: carrying capacity-environmental carrying capacity- Tourism Environmental Carrying Capacity. The study of TECC includes Theoretical Framework and Directorial Tool. In the Theoretical Framework, TECC means that the most load that the place of interest can bear in the condition of sustainable development. In the Directorial Tool, TECC discards the "magical number", analyzes the change of resource and social condition, and select the directorial project, and ensure the sustainable development of the place of the interest. Now, Theoretical Framework and Directorial Tool exist in the system of TECC.The paper discusses the origin and the development of TECC, and makes use of the method of Theoretical Framework and Directorial Tool to study the field in the hope of supplying a new idea for the research of TECC. In the process of study, author makes some conclusions: (1) the TECC is helpful for the sustainable development of tourism. (2) It is a new way that Theoretical Framework and Directorial Tool are used together in management of tourism. (3) getting thedifference between Theoretical Framework and Directorial Tool, the governor can carry out management to the place of interest effectively.
