In order to utilize fully natural resources, avoid geological hazard result from engineering construction, promote and keep maximum harmony between environment and development, urban environment geological quality evaluation is very significant for city planning and become to be indispensable part before city construction.The study had an analysis and evaluation on engineering geological environment quality of Olympic Park and predicted main engineering geological probable problem through completely analysis and study on engineering geology environment of Beijing Olympic park.First, established 3-D strata structure with basic borehole data, collect geological feature data of the area; secondly, established engineering geological environment database, comprehensively researched geological environment quality; thirdly, established judging index and judging standards for all the index and classify the categories through cluster analysis and comprehensive evaluation theory to assess the engineering geological environment quality and engineering construction adaptability.The conclusions were drawn as followings according to the analysis and study. The section condition south to Datun Road of the site is fine and suitable for construction of major project. The others should be evaluated specially due to Huangzhuang-Gaoliying Fault existing in the north part of the site.Analysis and evaluation results of engineering geological environment quality is basically conformed to practical situation, can be referred for city planning.Established a set of assessment index, puts engineering geological environment quality feature quantitative, graphic, suitable for different fields, and especially for city planning directly. Make the cluster analysis and indistinctness comprehensive judging method more popular deepening and widespread.
