Engineering Geology studies the engineering activities related problems of geology and the interplay between human engineering activities and geology environment. Human economic construction activities are carried out under different engineering geological conditions. Construction and engineering geological conditions connect and restricting with each other. Henan province is in a special geological tectonic belt with various geological features.Mountain Wan locates in the west of Wanshanpo Village of Qiaolou Town Xingyang city, which is a relatively independent isolated hill. Zhengzhou Mountain Wan Geological Cultural Industrial Park (Mine Park) is established to create a scale geological landscape with high scientific quality and artistic value. The park integrates mountaineering, science education, culture and entertainment as a comprehensive geological environment governance demonstration zone, which can promote sustainable development of economy, culture and the environment of Zhengzhou. Acoordingly, a systemic and overall research and evaluation work of engineering geological conditions in Mountain Wan Industrial Park is necessary, which has never been done before.In this topic, we had done some research,such as drilling, testing, and indoor and outdoor tests. find out the proposed ground strata, lithology, geological structure, hydrogeology, engineering geology conditions, etc.We had assessed something such as the ground bearing capacity and deformation modulus of foundation soil, permeability, shear strength parameters for the evaluation of the system.We also took a large scale engineering geological surveying and mapping, artificial exploratory well, exploratory trench, wave velocity test, standard penetration methods such as dynamic agent means mutual support, to ensure that the correct parameters, reasonable. On this basis, according to the engineering geological conditions of the similarities and differences in the study area, geomorphic unit, factors such as topography, formation lithology, engineering geological zone area of this study was divided into four, at the same time on the engineering geological characteristics of each partition are discussed in detail.This topic research innovation points includes the following three aspects mainly:(1) the plane polar projection method is adopted, with qualitative analysis combined with semi-quantitative method, in Mountain Wan Industrial Park original quarry slope steep slope (15-25 m high steep hills,60°,85°) are analyzed, solved the bedrock steep slope stability analysis in the study area is difficult to quantitative calculation.(2) in this study area according to the broken line slide surface residual thrust method, the quantitative analysis to calculate the working condition of four kinds of condition, storm conditions (natural condition, storm + earthquake conditions, earthquake) conditions, the area of medium-sized unstable slope stability safety coefficient.(3) by in situ water penetration test, we can find out the problem field of loose powder soil permeability coefficient; Level of undisturbed soil sample collected by artificial exploratory well do indoor double the collapse test method, find out the collapsibility field soil category, the depth and scope. At the same time, on the basis of comprehensive analysis on the comprehensive engineering geological zoning in the study area and move further evaluation.
