This study took five months and it was done by such research methods as documental research, questionnaires, case analysis, natural experiments and video analysis. In this study many teaching experimental researches on teaching status quo, strategy, evaluation and so on of college students' reflective ability in mathematics were carried out in both theory and practice. The experimental results were tested and analyzed in quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis, and some valuable results which can be consulted in practical teaching were obtained initially. This paper consists of six chapters which clarify the proccesses and results of experiments: 1. Presentation of the question; 2. A review of the theories on reflective ability in mathematics; 3. The theory on cultivating students' reflective ability in mathematics; 4. The teaching status quo of vocational college students' reflective ability in mathematics; 5. The practical research of cultivating vocational college students' reflective ability in mathematics; 6. Discussions and suggestions.The results of the research show: 1. By carrying out teaching experiments to cultivate students' reflective ability in mathematics, students' reflective consciousness, initiatives, enthusiasm and creativity in mathematics have been enhanced; students' good reflective habit has been formed and students' reflective consciousness and reflective skills in mathematics have also been cultivated. As a result, students' reflective ability in mathematics of experimental class, more or less, has been improved. This shows that if the analysis of students, the charateristics of higher mathematics teaching and the elements of affecting students' reflective ability in mathematics is practical, the proposed concepts, the reflective teaching hypothesis in four-level propsition and strategies of carrying out teaching are all effective. 2. By carrying out teaching experiments to foster students' reflective ability, students' interest in learning mathematic is motivated and students' mathematics marks in experimental class are also improved, especially the students who were not good or poor at mathematics made great progress. This shows that the way of evaluation is kind of effective. 3. By carrying out the teaching experiments to cultivate students' reflective ability in mathematics, students can directly join in teaching and their consciousness of being the main part in teaching can be enhanced. Some positive changes occurred in students' non-intelligent elements as attitude of affection, beliefs, interest, habits, consciousness to join in teaching, team drive and etc.. 4.
