| Based on the study of the factors that influence earthquake emergencies, the regional difference factors from them are firstly picked out and a systemic analysis on the regional difference characters of the main factors is made using the Arclnfo technique. Choosing the indexes of macroscopic regional characters of main factors and structural types of the combination of some special social-economic factors, by means of combining the top-to-down and bottom-to-up methods that are generally used in the study of zonation in earth science, regional types of earthquake emergencies that appear distinct traits in natural and social-economic fields are divided. At last, the characters and the main special matters of each regional type are analyzed. The followings are the main conclusions of this thesis.1. Based on analyzing and studying historical cases of earthquakes, and referring to relevant policies and laws as well, this study addresses the factors related with earthquake emergencies, and then picks out the regional difference factors that influence the earthquake emergency. The result shows that there exist obviously regional differences of earthquake emergencies in China. And these regional differences factors mostly exhibit in three aspects, which are natural environment, earthquake activity and social-economic condition. The natural factors, mainly including topography, hydrology and climate, control the environment of emergencies and relief as a whole. At the same time, some disaster generation processes, such as secondary hazards, usually happen in some certain regions. So taking actions pertaining to these processes can promote the earthquake emergency's effect. Earthquake activity chiefly affects the earthquake emergency in two aspects. One is the intensity and the shock series of a certain earthquake that directly influences the dimensions and mode of emergency action, the other is the regulation of earthquake activity at different scales of time in a certain region which is a basic reference to the emergency system construction and arrangement before earthquakes. The social-economic environment in a certain region is the determinant factor in the disaster process. And for the loss dimension of a certain earthquake, its effect is more direct, especially after an earthquake. For example, the density of population and properties is one basic factor of earthquake emergency dimension. Some special social-economic matter, Such as status of policy and economy, industry structure, minority and so on, make some effect on degree, dimension and mode of the earthquake emergency. The emergency level, including traffic and communication, alms and medical treatment, are not only the basis after an earthquake, but also the requirement reference before an earthquake.2. Based on the analysis of regional difference factors mentioned above, throughcollecting lots of data of earthquake disaster and economy up to date, including data and maps, this study chooses some indexes that can reflect the main different factors of earthquake emergency. And then by combining the qualitative and quantitative methods, the thesis analyzes and summarizes the regional differences and spatial relationship of these factors in China. The result shows that the earthquake activity, natural environment, social-economic environment, and the regularity, can be taken as the main regional difference factors. There exist not only obvious particularity and laws on each factor, but also close relationship among them. And these particularities, laws and relationship are just the basic reference when the policy and guideline of earthquake emergency are constituted and executed. At the same time, it also indicates that it is necessary to implement regional emergency according to the seismic, natural and social-economic situation of our country.3.
