Study On The Relationship Between Bryophyte Community And Forest Community In Baotianman Nature Reserve

The research adopted the methods of sample field and sample line.Through investigating the bryophytes communities in Baotianman nature reserve,the results are as follows:1) There are 19 bryophyta communities in Baotianman nature reserve.They can be divided into 4 types: Bryo-petrophytia ,Bryo-gerphytia ,Bryo-epixylophytia and Bryo-sapro phytia.2) There are 25 families ,75 genera and 238 spieces of bryophytes(including 4 subfamilies and 3 varietas). Each of 10 dominant families contained more than 10 species.The proportion of dominant familities surpussed 40% in all families. They contained 43 genera and 180 spieces which accounted respectively for 57.33% and 75.63%.3) By Shannon-wiener index ,Pielou(Jsw) index and Simpson index respectively, the diversity of bryophytes spieces in 17 sample fields was measured,the result showed:with the increase of altitude elevation, Shannon-wiener index appeared double-top type.The two regions of higher index are altitude 900m-1200m and 1500m-1750m.The trend of Simpson index and Shannon-wiener index were contrary. Pielou(Jsw) index and Shannon-wiener index are consistent basically. Shannon-wiener index well reflected the diversity of bryophytes species of this region.4)Bryophytes communities had obvious vertical distribution.They were divided into 5 bands: (1)bryophyta in the lower mountain area.(2) bryophyta in the deciduous broadleaf forest including evergreen element zone.(3) bryophyta in the Typical deciduous broadleaf forest.(4) bryophyta in the Mixed coniferous-bradleaf forest (5)Shrubs and elfin wood zone. 5)In different ecosystems, the Bryophytes highest diversity is in Quercus aliena var.acuteserrata forest and Quercus variabilis forest. The second one is in Populus davidiana forest and the lower mountains Bryophytes zone. The third one is in the conifer broad-leaved mixed forest. The lower one is in Betula platyhlla. Bryophytes diversity of Bryo-epixylophytia and Bryo-saprophytia is highest in the conifer broad-leaved mixed forest. The diversity of Quercus variabilis forest and Quercus aliena forest is second. The diversity of Populus davidiana forest and the short-zigzag forest on the top is third. The diversity of Betula platyphlla forest is lowest.
