Emergence And Meaning Of Philosophy Of Fuzzy Mathematics

Professor L.A.Zadeh, a famous electronic engineer and cybernetics expert, majored in computer department of Berkley Branch, California University of United States. Since he published his essay concerning Fuzzy Mathematics - in 1965, the Fuzzy Mathematics has experienced thirty-year development. The Fuzzy Mathematics, linked close to the computer, has succeeded in pervasion covering the varied fields of engineering technology, mineral reconnaissance, weather forecast, Chinese herbal remedies, automatic control and economic management. Its antenna of application has extended to the science, technology and management, etc. For the extensive usage of the Fuzzy Mathematics, there must have a profound philosophy foundation of it. This article analyzed the inherent essence of Fuzzy Mathematics from the different aspects of ontology, epistemology and methodology, intending to illuminate the mathematics as a potential productivity of enhancing the development of science and technology.This passage was focused on the ontology of Fuzzy Mathematics. It explained both the view of dialectic-mathematics and the primary characters , the objective basis and the philosophical basis of the Fuzzy Mathematics, in order to disclose the philosophical significance of the Fuzzy Mathematics by means of discussing the relation between the Fuzzy Mathematics and infinity view, complex mathematics, systematology- probability and the conversion of the mass. Besides, the passage showed us the relations between the philosophy category from the points of the mathematics and philosophy.Based on the ontology, the analysis of the subjective factors > objective factors and the limitations of the subjective-objective transition, the causes which stimulated the appearance of fuzzy phenomena, revealed the deficiencies of the studies in our country. At the meantime, the general analysis on the fuzzirized method, the fuzzy-set method, language method and computerized method described the prospect of the Fuzzy Mathematics.In addition, the further discussion of the impetus, which created the Fuzzy Mathematics, as well as the reflection on themathematics, showed us the mathematics as a significant implement in understanding and constructing the science theories. As a rational implement, none but the mathematics could lead us to the essence from the appearance.
