The Design And Building In Digital Platform For Species Diversity Of Seed Plants In Hunan

Digital platform is using computer technology (especially database technology), network technology and communication technology to digitize plant resources information completely, it is using scientific and standard management to conform and integrate these information resources, and it will show the information by some ways (such as a website) to plant researchers and fans. The target is to contribute a digital platform which satisfy the needs of scientific research and communication based on various information collecting, exchanging, and sharing. Digital Platform for Species Diversity of Seed Plants in Hunan is a digital platform which digitizes the information of Hunan seed plants species diversity and other relevance, and finally becomes a comprehensive and integrated digital platform.From 2009,3 to2010,4,1 collected and arranged the information of species diversity of seed plants in Hunan first, then I considered the modes of how to show the digital platform, and finally determined using SQL Server2008 to write a database, using Visual Developer Web 2008 to make a wed page, and determined to realize the Digital Platform for Species Diversity of Seed Plants in Hunan by modules. The main research results can be illustrated as follows:(1)Digital Platform for Species Diversity of Seed Plants in Hunan includes 5 modules, which are the gallery of seed plants in Hunan module, the specimen information in Hunan module, the communication platform of seed plants in Hunan module, the after-school interactive learning module, and the brief introduction of our teaching and researching office module.(2)The gallery of seed plants in Hunan module is mainly to show resources of Hunan seed plants by photos, and let resources of Hunan seed plants be known by more students, teachers and other people.(3)The specimen information in Hunan module is mainly to show the seed plants specimens in Hunan (mainly to show the specimens in our teaching and researching office at the present time) by the digitization of these specimens'information, and to provide some help for the study of seed plants.(4)The communication platform of seed plants in Hunan module is mostly to discuss and share the new research achievements by plant researchers and fans through the BBS, and to promote the development of Hunan plant research. (5)The after-school interactive learning module is mainly to improve students' learning effects by the web platform which is a new kind of education aid measure, and it will help to cultivate young researchers on dendrology.(6)The brief introduction of our teaching and researching office module is mainly to introduce teachers and scientific research achievements in our office, by which will make our teaching and researching office be known by more people, and make the digital platform more believable and authoritative.
