Germplasm resources of species, geographical distribution, type of wild orchid in Fuzhou were analysed in detail on the basis of sorting data, literature review, combined with the wild orchids of special investigation. The AHP was also applied to evaluated these wild orchid ornamental plants of Fuzhou to provide a theoretical basis for the development and utilization. Results are as follows:1. There are 72 species and 2 varieties belonging to 36 genus of Orchidaceae in Fuzhou,in which, the percentage of genera with single species and few species is the largest with an accounting for 88.89% of total genus number, and there are 14 Chinese endemic species. The life-forms of Orchidaceae in Fuzhou are mainly edaphic type.2. Orchids are widely distributed in Fuzhou, which mostly distributes in Yongtai.Vertical distribution, mainly in hilly and low mountain areas.3. The component of the orchid flora in Fuzhou is complex, altogether has 10 distribution patterns. The percentage of genera and species belonging to tropical composition are 72.22% and 67.57%.4. AHP method was used to evaluated the view of wild orchids by using 13 view indexes. The results showed that flower diameter weight accounted for 24.1%,15.6% followed by the flower color, leaf color 14.9%,10.9% of the number of flowers, the rest of the factor weight values are less than 10%, and according to the comprehensive evaluation value 45 species of wild orchids are divided into 4 grades:Levelâ… (>3.1):Type of high ornamental value,5; Levelâ…¡(3.0-2.8):Type of relative high ornamental value,13; Levelâ…¢(2.8-2.5): Type of general ornamental value,12; Levelâ…£(<2.5):Type of general inferior ornamental value,12.
