In recent years,with the adjustment of economic structure and the evolution of external competition,the important role of business groups in China’s economic development has become increasingly prominent.The proposal of policies such as leveraging the traction role of business groups in the market economy and requiring large state-owned business groups to assume the role of "chain leaders" in the development of the industrial chain has put forward new requirements for the synergy effect of business groups.In the current context of domestic substitution,the importance of business groups in major innovation is increasing.Many innovation activities at the industry chain level need to focus on business groups for content exploration.Therefore,in order to improve the innovation efficiency of business groups,it is urgent to explore new mechanisms for innovation collaboration.Platformization development is a new trend in current economic transformation.By establishing relevant platforms,information transmission efficiency can be effectively improved and geographical boundaries can be reduced.Therefore,the platformization innovation transformation of business groups provide the possibility to enhance the collaborative efficiency of group innovation.Through a review of existing research at home and abroad,as well as observation of business practices,the innovative path of ecological transformation of business group platforms is an effective way for business groups to absorb external new kinetic energy and tap into internal traditional kinetic energy to achieve the transformation between old and new.Based on existing research both domestically and internationally,platform-based businesss refer to organizations that connect two or more specific groups,explore their potential needs,and stimulate network effects to profit from them.Platform based businesss will restructure a new order or system within the service industry,manufacturing industry,and inter industry by changing the existing pattern of division of labor and cooperation within and outside the industry,and gradually establish a mutually beneficial and symbiotic ecosystem centered on platform businesss.At present,research on platform-based businesss mostly focuses on transaction service platforms such as Taobao and Didi,as well as a series of industrial ecosystems derived from such transaction platforms.The focus of research is mostly on businesss that were initially positioned as platform light assets.But with the development of ecological businesss such as Apple and Haier,the connotation of the platform ecosystem is constantly expanding,and its form is not only limited to a single group of businesss with platform as the main business,but also further expanding into business groups.The research content has gradually expanded from the exchange research between the original platform businesss and external groups to the exploration of the construction of the internal platform ecology of the business.However,due to the limitations of research perspectives and corporate practices,most existing research has not yet expanded to the latter.Based on this,this article focuses on the identification of key elements and collaborative models of business group platform based innovation,aiming to provide guidance for the platform based collaboration of business group innovation in China.Based on the Grounded theory method,case analysis,Fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis,and the questionnaire survey of typical sample businesss and diversification,the following conclusions are obtained:Firstly,in the process of transforming platform-based innovation,business groups not only need to identify the characteristics of platform-based innovation itself,but also need to explore the relationships and characteristics between parent and subsidiary companies,subsidiaries,and external entities,and then summarize the key influencing factors in platform-based innovation of business groups.Based on the Grounded theory analysis method,through the research and grounded analysis of several business groups that carry out platform based innovation,this paper abstracts four key elements of dimensions,namely,the connotation of platform based innovation itself,the key elements of platform based innovation between parent and subsidiary companies,the key elements of platform based innovation between subsidiaries,and the key elements of platform based innovation between business groups and external entities.Among them,the key elements in the self-construction of platform-based innovation can be expanded from two dimensions:structural layer and operational layer.The key elements of platformbased innovation between parent and subsidiary companies include three aspects:governance layer,strategic layer,and operational layer.The key elements of platform-based innovation between subsidiary companies are further divided into individual elements of subsidiary companies and relationship elements between subsidiary companies.The key elements of platform-based innovation between business groups and external entities are macro,meso We analyzed the three micro dimensions and ultimately constructed a theoretical framework for the key elements of business group platform innovation.Secondly,the research adopts the Case study method to explore the collaborative mechanism and mode of business group platform innovation.Through the analysis of three typical cases,this paper takes the degree of control and openness as the dividing dimension,and constructs the symbiotic platform innovation model,embedded platform innovation model,and Ecotype platform innovation model of business groupsThirdly,the platform-based innovation transformation has strong innovation synergy significance for business groups.However,when the internal conditions of business groups are different,the question of which platform-based innovation model should be adopted still puzzles many business groups that want to undergo transformation.Based on this,this paper adopts the qualitative comparison method of Fuzzy set to explore the question of "which combination of factors may affect the selection of business group platform innovation mode".Specifically,based on existing research,this study explores the joint effects of five factors,namely industry competition intensity,group control level,strategic consistency,technological heterogeneity between subsidiaries,and industry similarity,on the selection of platform-based innovation models for business groups.It also explores the interactive relationships between different factors and extracts two configuration paths for symbiotic platform-based innovation models Three configuration paths of embedded platform innovation mode and two configuration paths of Ecotype platform innovation mode.Fourthly,the platform-based innovation transformation has strong innovation synergy significance for business groups.However,when business groups choose a platform-based innovation model,which factors may affect the effectiveness of platform-based innovation transformation on the innovation performance of subsidiaries.Based on this,this paper adopts the qualitative comparison method of Fuzzy set to explore the problem of "under what circumstances will different business group platform innovation modes bring innovative high performance of subsidiaries".Specifically,based on existing research,the joint effects of six factors on subsidiary innovation performance were explored,including institutional level,regional digitization level,subsidiary innovation search ability,subsidiary innovation absorption ability,parent-subsidiary relationship embedding,and parent-subsidiary structure embedding.The interaction relationships between different elements were explored,and two high-performance configuration paths for the symbiotic platform-based innovation model were extracted Two configuration paths for high performance of embedded platform-based innovation model and two configuration paths for high performance of subsidiaries of Ecotype platform based innovation model.At the same time,we also explored the configuration paths that lead to low performance of subsidiary innovation under three types of models.
